The Breath of Stone ( (いわ) () (きゅう) Iwa no kokyū?) is one of the five main Breath Styles derived from the Breath of the Sun. The Breath Style was originally created by one of Yoriichi Tsugikuni's students who attempted to learn the Breath of the Sun, but, due them to not being as innately powerful as Yoriichi, could not master it and was instead taught an alternative personalized breath style by their teacher that focused specifically on their strengths and weaknesses, eventually branching out completely and becoming the Breath of Stone.[1]

It is not known who the primary Cultivator of this Breath Style is within the Demon Slayer Corps.

  2. Second Form: Upper Smash ( () (かた) (てん) (めん) (くだ) Ni no Kata: Tenmen Kudaki?)[3] - Gyomei throws both his axe and spiked flail for a pincer move before smashing down on the chain to cause the flail to then rebound and smash his target from afar.
  3. Third Form: Igneous Reflection ( (さん) (かた) (がん) () (はだえ) San no Kata: Ganku no Hadae?) [4] - Himejima unleashes a series of slashes with his sword deflecting nearby attacks.

  5. Fifth Form: Stone Wheel of Justice ( () (かた) () (りん) (ぎょう) () Go no kata: Garin gyōbu?)[6] - Gyomei utilizes a powerful barrage with his flail and axe, doing a great amount of damage. The axe is destined to hit first with the trajectory of the flail following from the opposite side and slamming into the opponent.
