Unnamed Individuals Description
Final Selection Participant (Anime)
A participant of the Final Selection Tanjiro Kamado takes part in. The Hand Demon runs in to attack him, his frightful yelling alerting Tanjiro, who is able to save him by cutting off the demon's arm that he had caught the boy with.[1] As Tanjiro engages in battle with the demon, he runs away.[2] He is later killed by unknown means and thus doesn't make it to the end of the selection.[3]
Zenitsu's love interest (Anime)
A girl who stopped to help Zenitsu Agatsuma when she found him crouched on the side of the road. Getting the wrong idea from her actions, Zenitsu thought she was romantically interested in him, clinging to her in the middle of the road and begging her to marry him until Tanjiro finds the pair and splits them up. Zentisu complains about Tanjiro's actions, and the girl exclaims that she never wanted to marry him in the first place, slaps him and explains that she was just checking to see if he was alright and that she had a fiancé anyway.[4][5]
Confident Corps Member (Anime)
A member of the Demon Slayer Corps who was part of the unit sent to Mount Natagumo. He approached Rui as he confronted Tanjiro Kamado, telling the latter to stay back and exclaiming that he could easily slay a child-like demon like Rui, to increase his rank and thus his pay would go up. Rui swiftly kills him with a web of his threads.[6]
A Kakushi tries to speak with Kanao
A female Kakushi who worked alongside Goto to give aid to wounded Demon Slayers on Mount Natagumo as well as perform standard Kakushi duties. After Tanjiro is given amnesty by Kagaya Ubuyashiki following his trial, she and Goto carry him away to be treated in the Butterfly Mansion. However, Tanjiro escapes from their grasp and rushes back to attempt to headbutt Sanemi Shinazugawa in retaliation to the Wind Hashira stabbing Nezuko multiple times. After he is restrained and once again carried to the Butterly Mansion, she and Goto angrily chastise Tanjiro, claiming to have been incredibly frightened by the Hashira and demanding an apology. When they arrive, she is silently greeted by Kanao Tsuyuri, much to her confusion, before Aoi Kanzaki takes Tanjiro away to be cared for.
Train Conductor (Anime)
Train Conductor
A civilian recruited by Enmu to be the conductor of the Mugen train. He checks the tickets of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Kyojuro to activate the demon's Blood Demon Art and trap them in their dreams.[7] After reporting back to Enmu, he cries and begs the demon to let him sleep too so he can see his dead wife and daughter, and Enmu obliges.[8]
Enmu's Recruits (Anime)
Civilians recruited by Enmu to enter the dreams and destroy the spiritual cores of the Demon Slayers aboard the Mugen train. They tie themselves to Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Kyojuro and each enter their respective Corps member's dreams.[9] The girl who enters Kyojuro's dream fails to destroy his spiritual core due to him strangling her in reality,[10] and the girl and boy who enter Inosuke's and Zenitsu's respective dreams fail to destroy their spiritual cores when the two chase them away inside their dreams.[11] When Tanjiro returns to reality, the recruits attack him because he didn't allow them to have their own dreams, leading him to knock them unconscious.[12]
Enmu's Fourth Recruit (Anime)
The fourth of the civilians recruited by Enmu to enter the dreams and destroy the spiritual cores of the Demon Slayers aboard the train, who wants have his own dream because he suffers from tuberculosis. He ties himself to Tanjiro and enters his dream with the intention of killing him,[9] but is touched by the beauty and kindness of Tanjiro's unconscious realm.[13] When Tanjiro wakes up and the young man is pulled from his dream, he is saved manifestation of Tanjiro's spirit and takes it into his own heart. He doesn't join the other recruits in attacking Tanjiro, instead thanking him and telling him to be careful.[14]
Train Engineer (Anime)
An engineer for the Mugen train. Like the other staff, has has been manipulated by Enmu into preventing the Demon Slayers from attacking, which he does when Tanjiro and Inosuke discover Enmu's neck bone at the front of the train. When the two of them slash Enmu's eyes, he attempts to stab Inosuke, but is intercepted by Tanjiro and subsequently knocked out. After Enmu is killed and the train crashes, Tanjiro sends Inosuke to ensure he is okay despite Inosuke's protests, since he feels the injuries he sustained during the crash are enough to atone for what he did to him.
Entertainment District Samurai (anime)
A samurai who once traveled into the red-light district where he encountered a then 13-year-old Ume. After the samurai insulted Ume’s older brother, Gyutaro, Ume stabbed his eye with a hairpin. In retaliation, the samurai tied her up, burned her alive, and left her to die in a ditch. The samurai is then hired by the manager of the house Ume worked in to kill Gyutaro. Although he successfully slashes Gyutaro, the samurai is killed after his head is split in half by the vengeful boy.
Glasses Fiancé (anime)
A bespectacled young man who was once a suitor of a 15-year-old Mitsuri Kanroji. He had grown disinterested in marrying Mitsuri due to her odder traits like her hair color, immense strength, and gluttonous behavior. He told her as much while also cruelly claiming that only a bear or a boar could love her. He then broke off their engagement, asking her to forget he ever existed. His harsh words caused Mitsuri to foster intense insecurity and prompted her to dye her hair black and eat significantly less.
Mitsuri's Second Fiancé (anime)
Mitsuri Kanroji’s second suitor. She had met him while she was posing as a black-haired and faint woman in order to stifle her true personality. Although he was significantly kinder than her last suitor, Mitsuri grew disillusioned with hiding herself to appeal to others and assumedly broke off the engagement before joining the Demon Slayer Corps.
Hantengu's Magistrate (anime)
A magistrate who sentenced a then-human Hantengu to death for his various murders and thefts. When Hantengu tried to claim innocence due to blindness, the magistrate disregarded his pleas, citing a blind masseur who would face the wrong direction until spoken to, a trait which Hantengu did not show. Unimpressed by Hantengu’s attempt to then pin the blame on his hands, he orders them to be severed before his execution. After being transformed into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji, Hantengu kills the magistrate in his home, although in a last act of defiance, he proclaims that one day, Hantengu will pay for his sins with his life.

Tanjiro's Grandmother
The grandmother of Tanjiro and his siblings. She was knowledgable about demons, and warned Tanjiro about them many times when he was a child. On the night Tanjiro's family is murdered while he stays with Saburo, memories of her warnings resurface in his mind as he sleeps.
Rei's Daughter (anime)
The daughter of Rei, the woman Muzan Kibutsuji had assumed a false identity as the husband of. As a normal human child, Rei's daughter is curious and inquisitive in personality, as well as loving: she lights up with excitement when her mother returns and hugs Muzan tightly as he's holding her. It's unknown what happens to her and her mother after Muzan abandons his false life with them to take up another camouflage.
Rui apologizing to his parents
The biological parents of Rui; They were killed by him after he misinterpreted their intentions of killing him for becoming a Demon, when in reality they were trying to commit murder-suicide to atone for their son's sins.
Takaharu's Grandpa
An elderly man that lived on a mountain with his grandson. The elderly man discovered Inosuke Hashibira as a child and taught him how to read and write.
Tengen's Brother (anime)
Tengen's only surviving brother. As children, he, Tengen, and their other siblings were forced into rigorous training by their cruel father, resulting in the deaths of all of them but he and Tengen. He's described by Tengen himself as a spitting image of their father: cold and heartless with no respect for anyone. He often treated his subordinates as expendable pawns and even believed his wife's purpose was to simply make him a successor. Tengen, wanting to distance himself away from ever being like his brother, eventually found the path of a Demon Slayer to become his opposite.
Muichiro's Father Anime Profile
The father of Muichiro and Yuichiro Tokito, a woodcutter who lived with his family in a secluded forest area. He was a very kind man, encouraging Muichiro despite his more withdrawn personality, and it's noted he has the same red eyes as Tanjiro Kamado. Their mother had fallen ill with bronchitis, so, in an attempt to find medicinal herbs for for her during a storm despite his elder son's pleas not to, their father slipped and fell off of a cliff to his death. He briefly reunited with Muichiro along with his wife and Yuichiro after he passed out from exhaustion after defeating Gyokko.

The mother of Muichiro and Yuichiro Tokito had fallen ill with bronchitis. According to Yuichiro, their mother also worked despite her illness and Yuichiro begging her to rest. Mitsuri's Family Anime Profile
The mother and father of Mitsuri, the Love Hashira. They were both very supportive of Mitsuri's strength, and never pressured her to conform to societal standards despite her being a woman. They wanted Mitsuri to embrace her true self, and didn't seem to like her dying her hair or seeking out marriages she didn't want just so she could fit in. As well as Mitsuri, it's mentioned that they have four other younger children, one of whom, Mitsuri's oldest brother, is pictured in the anime. Her father was a kindhearted man who would play with a young Mitsuri. Her mother however was calm and collected, but once witnessed her toddler daughter lift a large rock, which caused her to go into shock for the first time although she was also amused by her daughter's strength.
Mitsuri's Brother Anime Profile
Mitsuri Kanroji’s younger brother, and the second eldest of the Kanroji children. Mitsuri recalled him while reminiscing about her childhood. He is described as being about as old as Zohakuten’s physical appearance.
Shinobu and Kanae's Mother
The biological mother of Shinobu and Kanae; she was killed along with her husband when a Demon entered their home, leaving her daughters as orphans. She reunites with her daughters following their deaths and embraces her younger daughter. [15]

Akaza's Father colored profile
The caretaker and biological parent of Hakuji. He was a kind-hearted man who suffered from a disease and raised Hakuji as a single parent. After hearing of his sons crimes, he committed suicide out of guilt. When his son, who by then had long been the demon Akaza, began to die and crossover, he reunited with him along with his daughter-in-law and brother-in-law
Akeno's husband profile
The husband of Akeno Tsugikuni and the father of Michikatsu and Yoriichi Tsugikuni. He ordered Yoriichi to be put to death at birth due to being disgusted by his birthmark but was stopped by his wife who became violent at the thought of it. He then decided to give the twin brothers separate paths in life and forbade them from seeing each other, once striking Michikatsu on the cheek for disobeying. Despite his abusive behavior, he really did love Akeno and was devastated by her death, crying and embracing his wife's corpse, and never remarried after. He also began to search for Yoriichi after he left their house to honor his wife’s last request.[16]
Obanai's Family colored profile
An all-female clan of bandits that worshipped the Snake Demon and lived in luxury on riches looted from the demon's victims, offering their newborn babies to her as a sacrifice in exchange. Obanai Iguro was supposed to be a special sacrifice before his escape. Among the members were Obanai's mother, sisters, and grandmother, who would all pamper him with sickeningly sweet tones, as well as provide him copious amounts of food, although the lack of ventilation in the wooden cage they kept him instead made him ill. After Obanai's escape, the snake demon killed every one of them save for one cousin. They left an extreme emotional impact on Obanai, who felt being born to such a family made him impure.
Obanai's Cousin colored profile
One of the many cousins of Obanai Iguro, standing out on the virtue of being the sole survivor of the Snake Demon's rampage following his escape, as well as being responsible for his overwhelming survivor guilt with her scathing words. She and Obanai were rescued by the then-Flame Hashira, Shinjuro Rengoku, although she had to be physically restrained by him when she blamed Obanai for the deaths of her families and tried to attack him. According to the second fanbook, she used the leftovers of the Iguro family's ill-gained wealth to live a happy life.

The reincarnations of Muichiro Tokito and Yuichiro Tokito; their gender is unknown but they are seen sleeping when going on a stroll with their mother. They were in mist-patterned blankets.[17]
Shinobu and Kanae's reincarnation (colored)
The reincarnations of Shinobu Kocho and Kanae Kocho; they are beautiful female students from the nearby Sekirei Women's Academy.[18]
Kotetsu and Kanamori's reincarnations (colored)
The descendants of Kotetsu and Kozo Kanamori; they are seen walking in front of Kanata when he meets up with Toko.[18]
Gyomei's Reincarnation
The reincarnation of Gyomei Himejima; he is immediately noticed due to his stocky build and is very kind.[19]
Mitsuri and Obanai's reincarnations (colored)
The reincarnations of Obanai Iguro and Mitsuri Kanroji; they are a loving married couple that operate a diner known for their snake decorations and large servings.[19] They also have five children together.[20]
Jigoro and Sakonji's reincarnation (colored)
The reincarnations of Sakonji Urokodaki and Jigoro Kuwajima. They are elderly men seen playing shogi when Sumihiko Kamado interrupts their game.[21]
Sumi, Kiyo, and Naho's reincarnation (colored)
The descendants of Sumi Nakahara, Naho Takada and Kiyo Terauchi. The three girls are nearly run over by Sumihiko on his way to school, and they call him the "running guy."[22]
Genya's reincarnation (colored)
The reincarnation of Genya Shinazugawa. He is a police officer who works together with his senior partner Sanehiro Shinazugawa. They were scarred while arresting with someone who was wielding a knife, and they've been like brothers ever since. They nearly run over Sumihiko in a police car as he rushes to school. They soon give chase and go after him presumably for jaywalking.[23][20]
Sabito, Makomo, and Giyu's reincarnations (colored)
The reincarnations of Sabito and Makomo. The two are from the same swimming school as Giichi Tomioka. The children can be seen discussing toy charms similar to the fox masks which were worn in their past lives.[24]
Goto's reincarnation (colored)
The descendant of Goto. He is a male student that attends the same school as Yoshiteru and can be seen admiring a painting of Tamayo.[25]
Murata's reincarnation (colored)
The descendant of Murata. He is the principal of Toko, Yoshiteru, Sumihiko, and Kanata's school and is seen trying to close the gate as Sumihiko and Tojuro rush to class.[26]
