Kimetsu no Yaiba Official Character Book Volume 2 ( () (めつ) () (やいば) (こう) (しき) キャラクターズブック () (まき) Kimetsu no Yaiba Kōshiki Kyarakutāzu Bukku Ni no Maki?) is an official character book related to the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime.[1]

Overview[]

  • The front of the book contains a sticker page, two-page double-sided fold-out poster, and a seven-page color gallery.
  • Pages fourteen through thirty-nine are in full color, serving as character introductions for Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Kanao Tsuyuri, Genya Shinazugawa, Tamayo, and Yushiro. This section provides profiles of each character as well as analyses of the events surrounding them throughout their introductions in the anime.
  • Page forty illustrates several setting materials from the anime, and the following three pages are devoted to introductions of minor characters, including Jigoro Kuwajima, Kaigaku, Hisa, residents of the village the Swamp Demon attacks, Kiyoshi and his siblings, Saburo, and Toyo.
  • The last full-color section, covering pages forty-four to forty-six, displays the TV size lyrics and scenes from the anime's opening and ending themes, "Gurenge" and "from the edge."
  • In the back of the book, pages forty-eight to fifty-one are dedicated to staff comments on episodes nine to sixteen of the anime, and pages fifty-two to fifty-five contain an interactive "history creation diagnosis" point-counting game where players add or subtract points depending on whether or not listed traits apply to them.
  • The last section in the book, pages fifty-six to sixty-one, contains interviews with Hiro Shimono, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Reina Ueda, and Nobuhiko Okamoto, the voice actors for Zenitsu, Inosuke, Kanao, and Genya, respectively.
  • The final page in the book provides a table with the results, or "diagnoses," of the earlier game.
