Page Policy

  • The content of this wiki is expressed in English. This is an English language wiki and all edits are expected to be carried out in English (with exception of the Japanese content required via technique, powers or skill names determined by the content of the series).
  • The official Viz translations are to be used for names of characters, Breath Styles, titles of chapters and volumes.
  • Evidenced mistranslations can be changed so long as the Viz translations are also mentioned on the page.
  • Avoid the use of obscenities, slang terms, and euphemisms in articles. They can be used only in the context of quotes from characters.
  • Keep the tenses of articles/sections consistent.
    • History sections of character articles should be written in past tense. All other sections of an article, including chapter summaries, should be written in present tense.
    • If the content of a section of a chapter or episode is a flashback to a previous story point or the article of a deceased character, it should also be written in past tense.

 Image Policy

Acceptable Images

  • Images related to the series and taken directly from the author, publisher or any other official source.
  • In the case of the manga, images should be uploaded with no text in speech bubbles. If there is text outside of a speech bubble that would need to be redrawn, the raw (Japanese) version must be used.
    • Only the text outside of a speech bubble in a raw version shouldn't be erased. The text inside a speech bubble must still be erased.
  • In the case of the anime, images should not have subtitles, watermarks, or editor credits.
  • Only .gif or .png file extensions. This is standard requirement for the wiki system and many file extension types (such as .BMP) are not uploadable.

Unacceptable Images

  • Collages.
  • Fanart of any form, for any reason.
  • Images unrelated to Kimetsu no Yaiba.
  • Images with improper filenames.
  • Files in any other format other than .png or .gif.
  • Images with watermarks.
    • The exception is if it is an a official watermark.
  • Images with potential spoilers until the official chapter/ volume are released.
  • Images for your profile should not be uploaded to the wiki. Please upload them to another image sharing site and import them here.
  • Nudity and any other kind of image that shows explicit scenes, even if it's from an official source, according to Wikia's Terms of Use.
  • Duplicate images.
  • Fake images.
  • Uploading images and not using them.

Uploading Images

When you upload an image to this wiki, please provide this necessary information on the file's page:

  • Licensing: Please add the Fairuse Template to every image you upload. It can be added by selecting 'Fair use' on the dropdown licensing menu below where you rename your file.
  • Categorization: After you upload a file, please add the appropriate categories via the button at the bottom of the page, or the tab on the right hand side of the Classic Editor screen. These categories should include which characters are in the image, and which chapter/episode you took the image from.

Also, please add uploaded images to the respective image galleries of the characters in the images. This prevents duplicates from being uploaded.

Talk Page/Comment Policy

  • Sexually Explicit Refrencing: Commentary of the sort is not permmited on the wiki, failure to abide can result in being banned from the wiki.
  • Offensive Behavior & Language: This includes racism, profanity, religious intolerance, xenophobia, homophobia, etc. You might get a warning first depending on the severity of the offense or you might get immediately banned.
    • In the case of expressive freedom, profanity is tolerated on the condition that the user censors themselves via asterisks. (Example: a*****,b*****,c*****)
  • Spamming: This means writing a lot of nonsense stuff like random letters or repeated sentences. Warnings may be administered, However if it is a severe issue an immediate ban can be issued without notice.

Spoilers

  • Until the chapter is released by a publicly accessible site, that chapter's information is considered to be a spoiler. Until the proper English scanlation or official Viz translation is released, it is simply forbidden to add any information from it (including the chapter's title), and the edits should be reverted on sight. The information, as insignificant it might seem, might ruin the fun of reading a just-released chapter for some.

Vandalism

Vandalism is when you deliberately mess up edits, images, or any other thing on the wiki. This is not tolerated on the wiki and will result in a punishment by the wiki Administrators.

Things Considered Vandalism

These are some things considered as vandalism:

  • Destroying previous, correct edits of editors or changing them to incorrect information.
  • Creating false information.
  • Edit warring with another user.
  • Adding content in languages that are not English or Japanese, unless it's in context with an element from the work.
  • Removing content from a page for no good reason.
  • Erasing or messing up all or most of the contents from a page.
  • Creating pages that don't meet the minimal amount of content to justify their creation.
