Appearance[]

Shoichi is a short young boy of around 8-10, with black spiky hair and hazel eyes with a thick black border.

Shoichi wears a blue haori over a light green iromuji kimono with a white juban under it.

Personality[]

While his personality is not fully elaborated on, one can assume he is a loyal brother as he decides to follow his older brother to rescue him after he was kidnapped by a demon. He has also shown a protective side while interacting with his younger sister. It can be surmised that Shoichi is braver than average, as he decides to follow the two Demon Slayers, Tanjiro and Zenitsu, into the Drum House. Even when separated from the others with Zenitsu, he shows more courage than the Thunder Breathing user.

History[]

While not much is known about his personal history, Shoichi came from a family of presumably three kids, with him being the middle child.

Synopsis[]

Tsuzumi Mansion Arc[]

Shoichi, along with his sister Teruko, meet Tanjiro and Zenitsu at the entrance of the Drum House, searching for their kidnapped older brother.

Abilities[]

As an ordinary human, he doesn't possess any additional powers or abilities.

Trivia[]

  • Shoichi's name contains the kanji for "straight, right, proper, regular, standard" ( sho?) and "one" ( ichi?).
  • Zenitsu is under the false assumption that Shoichi is a strong warrior after he lost consciousness inside the Drum House while being accosted by the Tongue Demon. When Zenitsu came to, the demon had been slain, which Zenitsu credited to Shoichi. In reality, Zenitsu had defeated the demon in his sleep.
