Pillar level swordsmen are the only thing close enough in power to kill Upper Moons. Gotuge doesn't shy away from the fact that they're just humans, and logically weaker than apex monsters. They have to use more tactical approaches to dealing with UMs. I actually like that, its different than the usual superteam that rarely has any issue with enemies.
