Tengen Uzui is a Demon Hunter and the Sound Pillar of the Demon Killing Corps.

Synopsis

Natagumo Mountain Arc

Tengen was present with his fellow Pillars when Kamado Tanjirou awoke.

Functional Recovery Training Arc

Kochou Shinobu noted that Tanjirou was on trial, but Tengen simply stated that he would cut Kamado Nezuko's head off "flamboyantly", agreeing with and repeating this latter word when Himejima Gyoumei suggests they kill her. When Tanjirou reiterated his belief that Nezuko will not harm any humans, the Sound Pillar told him not to give them lip service, but rather a more complete explanation. He then remained silent when Kanroji Mitsuri asked if they should be dealing with their subordinate's trial without Oyakata-sama's input. After Tanjirou headbutted Shinazugawa Sanemi, Tengen looked at Mitsuri when she laughed with a neutral expression.

Abilities and Powers

Physical Abilities: Uzui Tengen demonstrates incredible strength in his fight against Gyuutarou and Daki, briefly engaging them both at the same time, as well as the ability to echolocate.

Breath of Sound: Uzui Tengen's unique Breathing style, the Breath of Sound's battle strategy is called a Score, and involves Uzui reading his opponents movements and deconstructing them into sound, by analysing the rhythm of their movements like this he is able to take advantage of their openings to much greater effect, being able to strike at their openings similar to making the beat to a song. In conjunction with this he uses small but powerful anti-demon bombs, made with a special gunpowder, which proved capable of overpowering an Upper Moon Demon briefly.

First Style: Thunder

Uzui lefts his twin swords above his head, before slamming them down at his target and creating an explosion with his bombs.

Fourth Style: Death Knells of Avicii

Uzui holds his twin swords apart (similar to twinblades if you've played Dark souls II) and spins them rapidly in conjunction with releasing his bombs, this technique proved capable of defending against an Upper Moon Demon's blood demon technique.

Fifth Style: Symphony of Shrill Strings

Uzui holds one of his twin swords with a reverse grip, and spins the over blade using the chain which connects them, he couples this by also releasing numerous bombs to detonate. This technique was able to overpower an Upper Moon demon.
