Synopsis[]
In Taisho-era Japan, kindhearted Tanjiro Kamado makes a living selling charcoal. But his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family. His little sister Nezuko is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself! Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return his sister to normal and destroy the demon who ruined his life.
Tanjiro finally chases down the main body of the upper-rank demon Hantengu. However, dawn is approaching, and the rising sun is a threat to Nezuko. Tanjiro's concern for his sister is a distraction from the focus he needs to fight Hantengu, and if he hesitates it could be the last mistake he makes! Elsewhere, Tamayo ponders the nature of Nezuko's curse and how she could be so different from other demons.

- Tetsumotonaka (squares), Tetsudoji (stripes), and Tetsutani (flowers) all says "We don't exactly know the details, but even we know something amazing is happening." While doing a formation pose together.
- Genya used to punch girls. But now that he's reached puberty, he started getting nervous around them. Genya says "Sorry. My bad..." and Kanata responds "No. No problem."

- Jump illustration: New Year's 2019 from Combined Issue 6-7, 2019. Featuring Tanjiro holding a brush, Nezuko cheers and the author holding a "Thank you" sign. - In Volume Cover Sketch, Gyomei is admiring a cat while hugging it makes the sound "Squeeze". Gyomei is a cat lover. Gyomei says "Namu, cat's cute... Namu, cat's cute...", while the cat thoughts say "The pressure... The pressure is incredible" and "Wa-wait, seriously?".
