Synopsis[]
In Taisho-era Japan, kindhearted Tanjiro Kamado makes a living selling charcoal. But his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family. His little sister Nezuko is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself! Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return his sister to normal and destroy the demon who ruined his life.
The Demon Slayer Corps plunges into Infinity Castle to defeat Muzan. Shinobu engages in a fierce fight against Doma, the Upper-Rank 2 demon. Poison doesn’t work on him, so she finds herself in an intense struggle. Will she be able to defeat the demon who killed her older sister?! Then another demon appears before Zenitsu and blocks his way…

Kimetsu Academy[]
- Kanae Kocho: Biology teacher and flower arrangement club advisor. She is a graduate of the Academy and has been one of the three beauties of the Academy for three years straight. She is popular among boys and girls. Anyone who speaks bad of her actually gets embarrassed to talk to her in her face. She is very gentle, but also mysterious. She has been seen sticking talismans on walls and chanting something like "Rin Pyou Tou Sha...", so people think she may have spiritual powers.
- Kanao Tsuyuri: A second-year high school Violet Class. She didn't have any relatives, so the Kocho family took her in. She and Kanae Kocho look alike, so people often mistake them for sisters. At present, she's one of the academy's three great beauties. Due to her outstanding physical abilities, she often gets scouted or asked for help, so she's busy. She's in the flower-arrangement club and wants to prioritize that, so she has a hard time.
- Gyokko: A Pot in the Biology Lab. Whoever the pot monster's eyes fall upon is subjected to endless condescension. But if you ignore its incomprehensible bragging, it'll tickle you with all its hands, so it's pretty annoying. When Ms. Kanae joined the staff, rumors about it and sightings of it suddenly stopped. Did she exorcise it and send it to the next world?
- Hantengu: Old Man Crawling Through the Halls. This old man weeps and mutters resentfully as he drags himself through the school halls. He doesn't look human. When he sees someone with a body smaller than his own, he attacks them and steals their belongings. In junior high. Tokito struck him with an axe kick so his head is swollen.

- Kanae faced down and cried.
- Zenitsu's trainer, Jigoro Kuwajima, was the Rumble Hashira. (*That's what it's called when a user of Thunder Breathing becomes a Hashira.) Kaigaku became his student first, but Jigoro valued Zenitsu equally even though he became a student later. However, Kaigaku didn't like that he wasn't the only special one anymore and held a grudge. He gave Kaigaku a kimono with the same pattern as his, but the boy never wore it.
- Kaigaku is the boy who invited in the demon who attacked Gyomei's temple. The other children had discovered that he stole money from the temple, so they confronted him and drove him outside that night. Gyomei's blindness is one reason he never knew Kaigaku was missing until the attacking demon mentioned it. Another reason is that the other children lied and said Kaigaku was sleeping.
- Murata was all alone after demons killed his family, so he joined the Demon Slayer Corps. He uses Water Breathing, but he's so weak that he can't see any water. Murata says "Don't call people who are trying so hard weak!"
- (*The swordsmen don't actually produce water, but it looks that way to people watching.)
- (*Besides Sakonji, there are other trainers who teach Water Breathing. Water Breathing is easy for beginners, so more swordsmen use it than any other style of breathing.)
- At Final Selection in Volume 1, the black-haired child holding a lantern was Kiriya. He's the only boy among the five children, so he became the new head of the household in place of his father. The image shows Kiriya wearing girl's kimono and Kiriya being the new Oyakata is the same person.
- Before taking her medicine, Nezuko is delighted to see Sakonji, whom she hasn't seen for a while.
- Giyu's crow (Kanzaburo). He's pretty old, so he mishears messages, hobbles around in battle and makes Giyu worry.
- Tanjiro's crow (Matsuemon)'s thought says "Don't lose my disipcle...". (*Disipcle → Tanjiro) While Tatsuemon yells at Giyu's crow (Kanzaburo) "Hey, it's dangerous!!", Kanzaburo makes the sound "Wobble wobble" as he walks and says "Order...". With Matsuemon replies "Nevermind that order!".
- Inosuke taking Tanjiro's food. Kiyo set it in front of him, so he thought it was his. He wasn't being mean.
- In Volume Cover Sketch, Murata's thought says "Things are getting serious... I'm starting to wonder if I should even be here...".
